Some jazz cats and a classical composer. Mix in rock n’ roll and famed recording studios and you have the Kraft Quartet.
Kraft Quartet was formed by Morgan Kraft in 1995 with Lex Samu on trumpet. They started recording with brothers Madison and Wesley Rast while attending art school in North Carolina. The group continued to gig and record after moving to NYC and Philadelphia, releasing their self titled EP in 2007 and full length album Nervous Boogie in 2008. Their most recent album The Big Album was released in 2024 and includes the single Bo Diddley (feat. Sean Costello).
Special guests include John Ellis, Sean Costello and the legendary blues guitarist Bob Margolin.
